Inspired by Marvel's best-selling books, "The Ultimates", this collection of DVDs includes both "Ultimate Avengers: The Movie" as well as "Ultimate Avengers 2: Rise of the Panther". These animated features tells the extraordinary story of six very independent heroes who, like it or not, must fight as one to save the world. Ultimate Avengers begins with the discovery of legendary WWII hero Captain America, who has been frozen in ice for over 60 years. When he's thawed out, he is teamed with Nick Fury, Iron Man, the Wasp, Giant Man, Black Widow, and eventually Thor, to combat the same shape shifting aliens that Captain America fought back in the war. They are called upon again in the "Rise of the Panther" to protect the king of Wakanda, Black Panther, and his people from the same brutal aliens. Total run time 144 minutes, rated PG-13.
